Alastair J. Clemow, PhD

Alastair J. Clemow, PhD - President and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to his position as President and CEO of Regentis Biomaterials , Ltd., Dr. Clemow served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexgen Spine Inc., which he joined in 2004. Dr. Clemow has more than 25 years of experience in the development and management of orthopaedic devices. He has served in numerous senior management positions including President& CEO of Gelifex, Inc.; Vice President of Worldwide New Business Development at Ethicon Endo-Surgery (a division of Johnson & Johnson); Vice President of New Business Development, Johnson and Johnson Professional Inc.; and Director of R&D, Johnson and Johnson Orthopaedics.

Dr. Clemow holds B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Metallurgy from the University of Surrey, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. Dr. Clemow is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and a Past President of the Society for Biomaterials from whom he was awarded the Hall Medal for Achievements in Biomaterials.

Livnat Ben-Zur

Livnat Ben-Zur - Israel Office General Manager & Executive VP

Ms. Ben-Zur brings over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry, holding positions in management, business and marketing in the United States and in Israel. Prior to joining Regentis, Livnat served as VP Business Development & Director of Women’s Health Program at Galil Medical. In this role, Livnat spearheaded product development processes related to the breast and gynecology applications, as well as managed the clinical program of these applications. Before that Ms. Ben-Zur served as a Director of Marketing of Medinol Ltd, and as Business director of Medical Technology group of Datamonitor Inc. She holds MBA in marketing and International Business from Tel Aviv University and Bachelor of Sciences, Biology from Tel Aviv University.

Prof. Dror Seliktar

Prof. Dror Seliktar - CSO and Co-Founder

Prof. Seliktar brings 14 years of biomaterials and tissue engineering research experience in American, European, and Israeli Academic Institutions. Prior to joining the Biomedical Engineering Department at the Technion, Prof. Seliktar was an N.S.F. International Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Materials at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland (ETH). Prof. Seliktar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University (Summa Cum Laude), Philadelphia, PA, and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Brooke Mastrorio

Brooke Mastrorio - VP Clinical Affairs

Brooke brings over 25 years of experience in medical devices, ranging from hip, knee and spine implants to neuro monitoring systems and implantable pain delivery systems. Previously she was with Augmenix where she lead a prostate cancer pivotal clinical trial for a hydrogel implant. Prior to Augmenix, she was with DePuy, a Johnson & Johnson Company for 19 years. Brooke has held positions related to new product development in R&D, Clinical Program Management and Clinical Operations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, a Masters in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College. She has nineteen patents. In her current position, Brooke is responsible for overseeing the pivotal clinical trial.

Roni Wechsler, Ph.D

Roni Wechsler, Ph.D - VP Research & Development

Prior to his position as VP R&D at Regentis, Dr. Wechsler served as the CTO of ProCore and ProChon for over 4 years, where he spearheaded all research activities related to cartilage and bone applications. Dr. Wechsler brings over 17 years of experience in the biotechnology industry including 13 years of work experience of leading projects and managing R&D activities in the medical device sector.

Dr. Wechsler holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the Neurology and Molecular Biology Departments at Weisman institute, and BSc in Biochemistry from McGill University, Canada.
